1.How soon will my discount plan activate?
Most discount dental plans activate within 1-3 business days.
2.When can I start receiving discounts on dental work?
Your discount dental plan can be utilized the day of activation. Just show the participating dental provider your Member ID Card and they will honor the discounted rate according to the fee schedule of your plan.
3.Can I coordinate my dental insurance with a discount dental plan?
You will need to consult with your dental office to verify if they can coordinate a discount plan with your current insurance.
4.Can I purchase two (2) discount plans to maximize savings?
No, members cannot use two plans in the same office at the same time. The benefits of two discount plans cannot be coordinated. Consumers are able to purchase more than one discount plan from DentalPlans.com to use at separate offices. For Example: If your orthodontist is participating in the Protective Discount Dental Plan and your general dentist is participating in the Uni-Care 200 Discount Dental Plan, the consumer can purchase both plans to use at the appropriate office.
5.How old must a member be to purchase an individual plan?
You must be at least 18 years or older to purchase an individual discount dental plan.
